HEY SPICY!

Hey Spicy,

I've been casually dating this guy for a while. It's just not clicking. I think he is trying to make it more than what it is by buying his way to my heart. It was sweet initially when I was in between jobs and struggling financially, but now that I'm back on my feet I don't need the help but I don't necessarily want it to stop either. I'm not ready to give up the fancy dinners and monthly car note he's taking care of. Is it wrong to continue receiving gifts and allowing him to pay bills if I don't see a potential future with him?

Dear Gift Taker,

I would like to tell you "he that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone (John 8:7)," but unfortunately, you know it's wrong! You are taking advantage of his kindness and you're sowing seeds of resentment for all woman. With that being said, move chick get out the way. The problem is you're prolonging a relationship you don't want and potentially delaying the process of establishing a loving relationship with the person you are meant to be with. Tell Mr. Gift Giver to call me so I can set him up with someone who may actually appreciate him.

#SPICYTIP: Communicate how you honestly feel or start splitting the bill.
